Annatto oil stimulates the production of melanin, it has 100 times more beta-carotene than carrots.
It also contains ellagic acid, an antioxidant polyphenol, which helps neutralize free radicals. Annatto oil protects the skin from UV rays which makes it an excellent pre- and post-sun conditioner.
